All summer the action seemed to be north and west. Every once in a while a report would mention eastern bay. My son and I got out for 2 hours before the rain yesterday working favorite spots in Eastern Bay and south. All on top water we got 5 over 20" and a good number of 18"ers. They are there! High tide and over structure.

Nice going. Eastern Bay shallow water has produced on most trips for me this summer, but I have had a few trips where the fish were not biting when I was there. Moving water certainly helps. Clear water (not necessarily crystal clear like last summer, but not milky or stained either) usually produces more fish.

Yes all fish are above the bridge! Nothing to see down south :) but seriously nice catching!
